Chapter Information

Your Los Angeles based chapter of the SCQAA was formed to cater to the needs of the greater LA County members of SCQAA and their companies. This is a chapter dedicated to the members of SCQAA that reside closer to, and within LA County. SCQAA is proud to offer three chapters serving Southern California. The Orange County Chapter of SCQAA maintains a home base within Orange County to better address the needs of the greater Orange County and San Diego County members. The San Fernando Chapter of SCQAA maintains a home base within the Northern Los Angeles area serving the needs of the Northern Los Angeles County to East Ventura County.  Periodically, our Boards will meet together to plan common and mutually beneficial programs. We will occasionally plan joint events with AITP-LA as well as with the PMI association. Some of the common programs would be Bosses’ Night, Summer Conferences, Vendor Showcases, shared high profile speaker programs, etc.

There you can listen to a keynote speaker present a topic of interest to the membership relating to quality assurance or systems assurance, and information on the changing technology continually going on around us. These speakers will offer strategic or tactical tips, tools, or techniques to broaden your knowledge and understanding of IT quality assurance. We have started with an evening program, and as the membership and corporate sponsors grow, have morning meetings, and some dinner meetings as well. Refreshments and stimulating beverages will be available to help you through the evening. Please check our MEETINGS page for current information on meeting times, location, and directions.

Join the Board and help organize your chapter, we need your help to be successful.

We are continually developing our Board for the LA County Chapter and are also building both the membership and the corporate sponsors from within Los Angeles County. All of this will take some work, and volunteer time. We will be mailing & emailing our LA County members, soliciting their feedback, as many of them have had the same problem with the location of meeting places and the long drive in heavy traffic.

If  you or any of your associates would be interested in serving on this Board or on a committee to ensure the success of YOUR association, please contact any Board member.  Join us and help lead the way.

I appreciate your input and look forward to you joining and remaining a member of SCQAA, the LA County Chapter, the Orange County Chapter, the Inland Empire, or the San Fernando Chapter, whichever better serves you best.
